My gaming habit started way in in the 80’s with the Sinclair Spectrum 128k. Growing up in the UK, most gamers cut their teeth on home computers as opposed to consoles and in Christmas ‘87, my Dad bought my older brother and I, ZX Sinclair Spectrum 128k. With it’s simplistic graphics and painful loading times, the Spectrum was definitely not the best performing console, but it has a place in my heart as it was my first home gaming experience. The Spectrum Next Kickstarter was launched yesterday and it has already exceeded it’s funding target which shows you how fondly remembered the computer is. Naturally, I’m very tempted to pull the trigger and fund the project.
